matqa. is a creator marketplace based in Kosovo, connecting brands and businesses with local content creators, influencers, and models for paid collaborations. We operate at matqa.com and can be contacted at hello@matqa.com.

When you sign up or use matqa., we may collect:

• Account information - your name, email address, and password (if signing up with email), or your name and email provided by Google when signing in with Google
• Profile information - your display name, bio, location, social media handles (Instagram, TikTok), follower counts, niche tags, and profile photo
• Business information - your brand name, industry, website, and company bio (for business accounts)
• Usage data - how you interact with the platform, pages visited, and actions taken (campaigns posted, applications submitted)
• Device data - browser type, IP address, and operating system, collected automatically for security and analytics

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your creator or business profile to other users
• Facilitate connections between creators and brands
• Send you important service updates and notifications
• Improve and develop the platform
• Comply with legal obligations
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create or authenticate your account. We do not receive your Google password or access to other Google services. Your use of Google sign-in is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Other users - your public profile (name, bio, social handles, niche tags) is visible to other logged-in users on the platform
• Service providers - we use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and similar infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
• Legal requirements - if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of matqa. or its users

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to or restrict certain uses of your data
• Export your data in a portable format

No system is completely secure - if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@matqa.com.

matqa. is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the platform before the change takes effect. Continued use of matqa. after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
